This is a locally based project, which in the future will be part of our volleyball club. The project started as an idea in the board of directors, and this has been realized in recent years. 

March 1, 2022 started the project officially, and here our chairman, Karsten, was employed as development manager, and Fie joined as project manager on 1 November 2022.

The purpose of the project is to get more young people into association life, and preferably in Kolding Volleyball Club. Through volleyball and other social activities, we want to create a cool youth environment where the young people thrive and think it's cool to come. At the same time, we will work to get more volunteers in the club, especially among the young members.

The project aims to work with activities for and with the young players in the club, as well as there will be collaboration with primary schools, youth education and higher education in Kolding. Other partners will be Kolding Municipality and other voluntary associations in the municipality. Throughout, the young people's well-being will be paramount, and we work to develop and test activities that the young people think are cool. During the project, the activities will be evaluated so that, when the project ends after almost 4 years, we can share our new knowledge with other associations, and there are a great many who can make use of the new knowledge.

Young in Volley will support The ABC of youth work.
